We are always on the lookout for fresh and unique pieces, and are thrilled to read submissions.

We are currently not a paying publication, but submissions are FREE.

We ask that submissions include a cover letter and a 3rd-person biography. Since all of our submissions are read name-blind, we also ask that names or personal information not be included within the submission itself.

We prefer 12-point/13-point Times New Roman or Garamond font, but will allow deviation for stylistic/artistic reasons.

We request North American First Serial Rights to Publication: Once an unpublished work is published, all rights revert to the original author, though we ask that House of Poetry be credited with first publication.

POETRY: Please submit a single file with no more than 5 single-spaced poems, each with a maximum of 80 lines.

PROSE: Please submit a single file with no more than 3 double-spaced prose pieces, each with a maximum of 1,800 words.

VISUAL ART: Please submit at most 3 files with no more than 3 pieces in total.
