Submit Your Writing for Publication

We are always on the lookout for fresh and unique pieces. If you have a work of poetry or prose that you would like to submit for publication in one of our issues, please submit through our Linktree.

Guidelines are in the form description, submissions are FREE.

We ask for First Serial Rights to Publication: Once the work is published, all rights revert to the original author, given that House of Poetry is credited with first publication.

Guidelines:

 

**PLEASE CHECK YOUR WRITING'S PUNCTUATION AND SPELLING FOR CORRECTNESS. We may reject your piece(s) if portions are typed incorrectly.

 

Prose works are limited to 1000 words each; Poetry works are limited to 75 lines each. 

(Using 12pt font size, 1.15 spaced Times New Roman font)

 

Works are limited to 3 for poetry, and 3 for prose. So in total, you can submit up to 6 works*.

*If you do submit multiple works, please submit them in one single file.

 

Works in a foreign language are allowed, as long as they are accompanied by a translation in English.

 

Please include a title in your submission file!
